Long time no see. I should really pick this thing up again. So I'm going to try. Here's the rundown.

Christmas break is very very long. I wont be back on campus till the 27th, which I adore. I'm not ready to go back to that stupid place, but whatever. I'm excited to see Snake, for sure. Sadly though, the 27th is Nicole's birthday. Not a very good present for her, but she is tough, and on the bright side, she'll be down there in less then 4 months after that. Why you ask?

I'm engaged. Yup. June 13th is the wedding. I should say reception, cause the wedding is gonna be over super fast, and everyone is invited to the reception. I'll have more details on that later. I'm super excited though. It's going to be hard, but so awesome. Things are look up as of right now, and it feels good.

Justin left for California on the first day of this year. That sucked. Hard. Its safe to say that we both changed each others lives, for the complete best. He brought out the best in me, and really helped shape who I am today. That sounds so stupid and sappy, but its true. He is family and I love that kid. Same for Sarah too. haha.

2008 is over. Thank God. 2009 here we come! Commence 2008 recap... now.

Obama got elected. While I dont care about politics in the slightest (I probably should.) I still think it is interesting. First Black President is in my life time. I can dig it. I was always bummed that someone landed on the moon NOT in my life time, and all this epic stuff happened a while ago, so I'll take what I can get. I wouldn't want the job, but if he is up to it, let him have it.

Chloe is getting huge. What the heck.

I've been so stressed out and worried these past weeks.. lets say month.. maybe month and a half.. or two. :D But for some reason, at this point in the day (night.. morning?) I feel relaxed. Which is great and soothing.

Call Of Duty: World At War is my current break obsession. I've been playing it non-stop. Dannnng. I'll miss it with I go back to hell- Greenville.

I got a sweet jacket for 3 bucks today at the DAV. It's pretty sweet. I'll post a picture soon.

... It feels good to blog again. hahaha.

I think I've finally started taking photos that I actually am really proud of, which is good. We have to do three self portraits for class. So far I have two. Well, one done, and the other in mind.

I'm actually going to take those individual pieces as 8x10's and tape them to cardboard and do something cool for the actually photo, but until then thats a rough draft. Now I gotta think of one more idea.

So its getting cold outside. Snowing back home, from what I hear.

Not much is going on. I really need to get out and take more photos but I haven't in a while. Which sucks. Maybe I will today. I've been playing in a pop punk band. Thats been kind of fun. We have a "show" saturday. Its mainly Snake's recording project for the semester, but its still been fun. He writes everything and we just learn it and play it and record it.

Cody sent me the Natalie Fight CD.

I've missed them.

I miss Nicole, a lot, obviously. Pretty stoked for Thanksgiving coming up!

Well. I keep forgetting about this thing, which is not good, because I told myself I'd post in this a lot.

Well, we've hit Mid Terms and it hasn't been easy. It's a lot, a lot of work. It's also kind of scary because we've hit midterm and we haven't done ANYTHING in Studio Recording 1 cause Erikson cancels so much. Like.. wow. Every other class is chugging a long at the normal "class speed". I'm very ready to be done with my current art project, I'll post some pictures of it sometime this week when I have time.

Nicole came down this weekend - which is amazing. Spending time with her is always super fun. We went to a show Friday night. Blake's band "Wind And Sail" had their debut show. They were really, really good. We went to Saint Louis zoo saturday. Blake, K, Trent, Nicole, and myself. That was A LOT of fun. I love those kids. I think I'll be back for Halloween, money providing. I need a job, Wal Mart hasn't called me back and when I called them they told me that "they'll call me." Ouch.

So it's around 8:00 a.m. I got up to go to my music business. After checking my email around 2:00 a.m. (mind you, that is six hours before class starts) I had NO email from my teacher telling me that he would be canceling class - so imagine Trent and I's surprise when we arrived to class and all the lights were off and the door was locked. The people standing outside the class, and ourselves, came to the conclusion that there was no class, we so we all left. Now I'm wide away and probably going to attempt to go to sleep again - but I don't see that happening.

Also. It's raining outside and after a late night of Timesplitters 2 up at Blake's house, I had forgotten to bring my hoodie back with me from the dorm. So that kind of sucks.

I went home this past weekend. Saw everyone - good times. I'm actually headed back THIS weekend as well because I didn't realize it was our fall break. So, score.

I got really, really bored in Studio Recording Class. The teacher is just so freaking boring. I hate it. Im changing my Digital Media emphasis too Graphic Design. After talking to an advisor and some people, its gonna snag me a better job and more money - which is cool for me. I can't be in classes with Gary Erikson for the next two years. He is so unorganized and I really think the audio recording major suffers from his lack of time and possibly ambition. Whatever.

Long time no see.

I'm coming to the conclusion that my Digital Media Audio Recording teacher is a little overwhelmed at this point. Studio Recording is a hit or miss class as to wether we have it or not. I'll get there, and no one will be there, go back, check my email, and see that he sent out an email 10 minutes earlier canceling it. What? Also, Sound Reinforcement is crazy - bands don't show up to their scheduled times, or our FOH (Front Of House... The guy who is supposed to be teaching me, the assistant, how to run the board) doesn't show. Frustrating.

Photography is finally picking up and we are getting into some more serious stuff, which I'm really excited about now. I love having a goal for photos and getting out and taking them throughout the week. I love my teacher. She knows what she's talking about.

Art Design is INCREDIBLY boring, but Design is the basis of all art, really so its good. It just sucks that I have to be there 6 hours a week. I don't mind the 6 hours of photography. Professor Hubble is awesome though, and I really like him - even if the class is a little slow. I think it has to do with the fact that it is at 6:30 to 9:30 twice a week it just seems to drag on forever.

Core class is fun. Professor Gilmore is cool. We are studying truth in all aspects of life. Some deep crap.

I'm growing a beard. Nicole wants to have skinnier legs. We're having a competition. November 29th is the day of reckonining to see who wins. We haven't thought a prize but I'll be sure to let you know.

My beard will destroy all.

Kristina got the job at the library. What the heck!? haha. I had the experience!

I've been writing a lot of papers. This school made us take a "Strengths Finder" quest. My top 5 were:

Connectedness

Positivity

Deliberative

Futuristic

Adaptability

So I had to write a paper on that. Got an A. I've been getting A's on everything. I don't know if this school is easy or if the classes are just stuff I'm good at.

I had the best photos for last weeks photography assignment. We don't have class today for photography, so I'm going to be out all day shooting photos capturing motion. I've got some ideas.

I miss Nicole, alot.
